Vintage German-made Pleasant Company Kirsten Doll - RARE *Tinsel Hair*.This is an early Pleasant Company Kirsten doll, manufactured in Germany. She has all of the beautiful pre-Mattel features including:-smooth, squishy vinyl-soft brown eyelashes-exquisite baby blue shade of eye color, with absolutely NO silvering of the eyes!-and the rare "tinsel hair". Tinsel hair is a collector's term for the unique wigs that some Kirsten dolls had in the early years. These wigs had sparkly strands that glisten in the sunlight like tinsel.Kirsten also has nice, tight limbs! Her eyes blink as normal. Super clean with no odors!She was displayed only, and then stored safely over the last 3+ decades.She comes in her original complete "Meet" outfit which includes dress (tagged West-Germany 1986), apron, pantalettes (intact elastic!), socks, boots, and hair ribbons.
