Vintage 8 inch, thousand faces, square shaped, Japanese vase bearing all male faces, at least one of which appears to be Samurai. Imported after 1952. As-Is.This vase bears the Shimazu clan symbol and is decorated with moriage and gilt with gold. It is glazed on the inside and has a crackleware glaze on the bottom.The vase has lost a little of its gilding but is in beautiful condition otherwise. It bears some Japanese characters in white over the decoration on one side.
