Rare set of six Glidden Pottery plates featuring adorable mid-century style animal motifs. Each plate depicts a different creature: giraffe, hippo, bull, lion, rooster, and horse (or donkey). These plates are a smaller size, measuring approximately 5 1/2" across, perfect for appetizers or desserts. The background glaze resembles majolica style, and the designs are beautifully stylized. The underside of these plates is unglazed.All plates are in good, but not excellent, condition. There are no structural issues like chips or cracks, but some surface wear and crazing are present.
