Americana, history, storytelling, explorers.I attempt to show flaws within these pages, as an accurate representation. This book is not in the best of shape, but I cannot find another copy listed anywhere. It has tales of early explorers visiting the West Coast, from San Diego, Coronado Monterey Vancouver. If you like historical reference storytelling, which depicts the reality of the time versus some rose colored revisionist point of view, then this is a wonderful source.I had gotten this book originally because I am an avid digester of original, first-person storytelling of actual events. The book cover spine is partially separated from the pages, the pages have issues like creasing, minor folding spotting, and such. The cover is as shown.It looks like it was originally part of Central School Library in San Bernardino, California around the turn of the 19th century. *AS-IS*
