Myler USA Guy Stoops Sterling Silver Star Concho Western Pleasure Cathedral Bit. Stainless steel cavalry #WS-19 shank show bit made by Ron Myler USA, with a cathedral spade mouthpiece. Unlike the Myler Toklat bits that are commonly found on Ebay, this is a genuine Myler USA bit patent which means it is not only Made in the USA, but is higher quality construction than the imported Toklat licensed bits. This particular bit was designed with assistance from well respected Western Pleasure trainer Guy Stoops and during his lifetime, was commonly called a "Guy Stoops" bit on on the AQHA show circuit. The bit is embellished on each cheek with a 1 inch diameter Texas Lonestar sterling silver concho. This is a well maintained pre owned bit with minor surface wear on the shanks and very light rusting on the sweet iron mouthpiece. The fixed shanks measure 7-1/2 inches long with a 2-1/2 inch purchase for a 3 to 1 leverage ratio. The mouthpiece is Myler's #19 solid A Frame Cathedral mouthpiece and measures 5 inches wide by 3/8 diameter.
