The locomotive does NOT respond to a 9v battery. I don’t have a way to properly test HO, however since it won’t respond to a 9V I believe the motor will need work. The model looks beautiful though and like new. See photos. <br><br>Pecos river passenger car looks good! Also painted. Some Interior seats are loose and need reseated
