It's a regular bar pin with a secure clasp. Measures 4 inches long! 2.5 inches across. High polished gold plate. Weighs 44 grams so it's definitely a jacket coat or blazer piece. It's a very nice piece but the only one I have. NOTE- I used the box just to show you that it is from her line. I carried a few other pieces of her's back then - it doesn't actuallt fit well in that box. I will send the box if you want one perhaps for another piece of her's but will ship it in a regular gift box.
