A beautiful example of traditional craftsmanship and artistry, symbolizing union, love, & commitment.Two spouts represent the bride & groom, connected by a handle symbolizing their joined lives. C. Tosa was born in 1950 into the Jemez Pueblo, New Mexico and learned pottery making from her Mother-in-Law, Persingula Tosa.All pottery is made using traditional methods, from digging the clay to outdoor firing. One side of the vase has a minor imperfection where some paint lifted (see picture #5).Dimensions: 5.75 x 3.5 inches.
