Rare Blue Beryl Vorobeyevite (aka Rosterite) & Tourmaline on Matrix from Badakshan, Afghanistan. Found in only one location on Earth. Sharp, gemmy crystals with incredible chatoyance. The blue beryls have amazing silver-blue color saturation. The terminations are etched. Pink Tourmaline crystals are mostly hidden beneath the Vorobeyevite. The specimen is a micro mount with at least 4 different mineral species intermixed in the sparkling matrix, including quartz crystallization, an unknown Black Spheroidal Crystal, and a Brown Spheroidal Crystal.
