Antique Noritake bread plate from the early 1900s, featuring a green color and gold details. Tree crest symbol associated with the Morimura family. Made from porcelain. A unique addition to any collection or as a decorative piece. A very rare find in this color. Most likely produced for sale in UK. Mark: "Komaru" symbol. Crowned with "Noritake" and below the mark "Made In Japan". The center symbol said to be taken from the Japanese character "Komaru", meaning "overcoming difficulties". Also known as the "tree crest mark" which is the clan crest of the Morimura family. This mark is said to have been registered in London.
