Fabulous silver plated vesta case shaped like a book! Very detailed engravings to create a realistic impression.Striking strip along the edge. Book opens on both sides, spring loaded so it stays closed firmly. Center compartment for holding matches but could be used to hold anything you like.Small bail at the top so it can be worn on a chain. Engraving on the front J. Francis.Lovely condition overall with very minor surface/plating wear from age. Functions properly, opening and closing with springs which give resistance so it stays firmly closed.Approx.
